The Vintage Camps are known for their specialist walking safaris, undertaken in areas of outstanding African wilderness. We focus on providing an extraordinary safari experience during which our guests develop an intimate knowledge of the environment and abundant wildlife therein.

There is nothing quite like a walk through the African bush; not only the excitement of encounters with big game on foot, but also the detail of the environment, leave one with an intimate appreciation of creation.

On safari with The Vintage Camps we will travel on foot into undeveloped wilderness, all the while accompanied by a portable, fully-appointed mobile camp, affording the comforts and elegance of that golden age; classic, spacious tentage and first class dining under the African sky.

Each unique safari is designed to take us on a journey without need of vehicles, to experience the thrill of living and walking within some of Africa's most extraordinary environments.
