Zimbabwe has undergone dramatic changes over the past 15 years, with its massive inflation, and redistribution and reclamation of land under the Mugabe government. Despite the country's struggles, the Parks remain some of the best in Africa. Mana Pools in renowned for its incredible game viewing opportunities as are Hwange and Matusadona National Parks.
We encourage people to come and see the magic of Zimbabwe. This country was once known as the bread basket of Southern Africa, and was renowned for its high literacy rate. It still has a highly trained workforce and much remaining infrastructure. Only time will tell what potential it holds. You are as safe in Zimbabwe as anywhere, in spite of its current circumstances, and you'll be in the best of hands.
