Itinerary
June 1st
Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport in the evening (KLM). Collect from the airport and transfer to Arusha, O/N in Ilboru Safari Lodge.

June 2nd
Collect from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to Lake Manyara, for full day safari with picnic lunch. O/N camping in Mto wa Mbu village.

June 3rd
Transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater, for safari with picnic lunch on the crater floor (6 hour permit). O/N at Simba campsite on the crater rim.

June 4th - 5th
Proceed to the Serengeti, with picnic lunch and afternoon safari. O/N camping in Robanda Safari Camp. The camp is located just outside Ikoma gate, bordering the Serengeti. It is here that the big herds of wildebeest and zebra (the 'migration') are during June - August and November - December. The area has a dense wildlife concentration throughout the year including: antelope, buffalo, many giraffe, elephant, hyena, cheetah, Lion and much more.

Another full day safari in Robanda area. There is also the opportunity for a walking safari and/or a night safari here which is not possible inside the Serengeti National Park boundary, hence a good reason to be in this region. O/N return to Robanda campsite. You'll probably find more wildlife in the Robanda area than inside the actual Serengeti National Park boundaries. Tomorrow we venture inside the Serengeti National Park and stay there overnight covering a much wider area of this eco-system.

June 6th
Full day safari with picnic lunch in the Serengeti National Park. O/N in Seronera/Lobo Wildlife Lodge in the Serengeti National Park.

June 7th
Transfer back to Arusha, with picnic lunch on the way. O/N in Ilboru Safari Lodge.

June 8th
Transfer to Morogoro, with picnic lunch on the way. O/N in Hotel Oasis.

June 9th - 11th
Proceed to Ruaha National Park, with picnic lunch on the way. O/N in a parks campsite.
Full day safari in Ruaha National Park returning to the same campsite.

An optional morning walking safari can sometimes be arranged if a local guide is available. Otherwise full day game drive.

June 12th
Transfer back to Morogoro, O/N in Hotel Oasis.

June 13th - 15th
Proceed to the Selous Game Reserve, a true wilderness area, with picnic lunch on the way. O/N in the game reserve campsite.

An optional morning walking safari and boat safari can sometimes be arranged if a local guide is available at extra cost. Otherwise full day game drive.

June 16th
Transfer to Dar es Salaam, with picnic lunch on the way. International flight in the evening (or extention to Zanzibar).
